Behind The Scenes

Seeing as I just got back from a visit to the Vancouver set of Collision Earth, I figure there’s no better time to give everyone a look behind the scenes…of a different project.  Ever since the second season of LXD got underway last December, my producing partner Christina Ferguson and I – along with videographers Andrew Waruszewski, Ron Najor and Owen Hooker, editor Elizabeth Massip and full-on documentarian Joel Schroeder – have been working on providing a unique look behind the curtain of one of the most ambitious cross-platform series in history.

The documentaries we’ve been working have started premiering on Hulu, with one appearing every week to coincide with a new episode of the series. The entire collection is set to appear on the LXD DVD, along with some very special top secret features we’re working on as I speak.  Write.  Whatever.  More on that later.  In the meantime, here’s our look at the making of the season premiere.  It was shot and edited by Joel Schroeder, who is – trivia fact – a rock star.  If you like what you see, give us a high rating on Hulu and check back often – I’ll be keeping the site’s new Behind The Scenes section up to date every week.
