The Warner Brothers legal department – apparently done with crushing the dreams of Batman, Turkey – have turned their sights on this here homepage. And, to be more specific, THE FUTURE IS CALLING. Thanks to a cease and desist letter stating that the commercial infringes on their copyright of 2001 – A SPACE ODYSSEY, I’m removing the ad from the TV Spots section of the site for the time being. I’m fairly confident that the commercial falls under Fair Use so who knows – maybe it will pop up again once things are sorted out with the studio. In the meantime…cool! Warner Brothers saw my commercial! Now if they call me with a movie offer instead of a threat of legal action, I may even be willing to pretend that none of this ever happened…
While history will remember me as the inventor of a jetpack that’s capable of traveling through time, I’m also the only film and commercial director ever to have an action figure based on his likeness. I live in Los Angeles. And this website is a record of my adventures.
