Braving The Elements

The soundstage above – known to industry professionals as “Ryan’s Garage” – was the scene of yesterday’s element shoot for HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO? Director of photography Jeffrey Waldron and visual effects supervsor Phil Broste, who added a hyphen to that title by getting into costume and doubling as our lead actor, joined me at the crack of dawn to capture the footage we needed to finish the spot. And now that the footage is in the can, we’ll be able to put the spot’s main character into footage of a vast, snowy mountain that was captured half a world away…and the audience will be none the wiser. Except for you, since you just read this blog entry. Damn it, you’re always one step ahead!
