Having survived all 37 hectic hours of West Coast Tour ’07, it was off to Beijing on Monday morning or, for those of you here in the Far East, Tuesday afternoon. Ah, the International Date Line – while it sounds like a nightly news program, it is, in fact, the poor man’s method of time travel. The Slamdance Screenwriting Competition has just notified me that one of my scripts, THE ATOMIC AVENGER, has made it into the finals. Telling the story of two young boys who are entrusted with the super-powered decoder ring of their favorite televised superhero, the script’s now in the top 10 of more than 2,200 entries received by the competition.
